Please uninstall drivers if it is installed.Find instructions on how to disable driver enforcement signature then try again. -

Think you need following
Windows 8
Go to
SETTINGS (the bar which pops up right of the screen with search, share, etc.)
CHANGE PC SETTINGS
GENERAL
ADVANCED STARTUP
TROUBLESHOOT
ADVANCED OPTIONS
STARTUP SETTINGS
RESTART
after restart you will have options on starting up. Choose nr. '7) - Disable driver signature enforcement'
Now install your driver and the device will be recognised.

OK GUYS THANKS FOR THE ADVICE ON HOW TO DISABLE THE DRIVERS ENFORCEMENT (ONLY ON MY COMPUTER HAD TO HIT SHIFT RESTART TO GET INTO THE ADVANCE SETTINGS ) . NOW HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE DRIVERS LOADED ON MY ACER W7700P TABLET CAN GET TO DRIVRS ENFORCEMENT SCREEN BUT TABLET DOESNT RESPOND IN THAT SCREEN DONT THING IT LOADS ANY DRIVER FOR TOUCH SCREEN , BLUETOOTH OR USB FOR AN EXTERNAL KEY BOARD . SO FAR HAVE ENTER BIOS AND DISABLED SECUREBOOT AND ENTER IN A DOS COMANDS TO DIS ABLE DRIVERS INTEGERTY STILL NOT ABLE TO LOAD DRIVES . ANY IDEAS AS DONT LIKE TO LUG A LAPTOP AROUND A CAR IF DONT HAVE TO .

got it sorted found the fix on windows 8 forum thanks to the help guys it put me on the right track . whats the latest on the soft ware are they going to update it notice that the v scale doent display on the left hand side of the screen
